Real-time, 3-D imaging and micro-technology offers Beaumont surgeons more accurate visualization, meaning greater precision and improved clinical outcomes.
This system combines the knowledge and skills of the surgeon with precise manipulation of surgical instruments. Using a da Vinci robot, our surgeons operate while seated at a console, viewing a 3-D image of the surgical field. The surgeon's fingers grasp the master controls below the display while the system translates the surgeon's hand, wrist and finger movements into precise, real-time movements of surgical instruments inside the patient.
